On a slightly related note, I believe GW was starting to re-invent the Squat race as the "Demiurg", and they even got their own ships in BattleFleet Gothic (not until it became a Specialist Game though), and there was an incident in one of my Black Library novels involving Chaos Marines wiping out a Demiurg mining facility as well.
I don't recall seeing any pics of the Demiurg in print, but I did see some concept sketches in Jes Goodwin's sketchbook (back in '02, he had it on display at the Canadian Games Day). From what I recall, he attempted to make them a bit more alien looking... they still had the characteristic head shape and facial features of a dwarf, but were given a bit of the Star Trek rippled Klingon forehead (and I *think* a monobrow, but my memory is a bit fuzzy on that point).
Not to take anything away from your fantastic conversion, but you MUST have known you'd be opening a can of worms by posting ANYTHING Squat-related online... ;)
