Bless the rot

Accompanied by clouds of flies, a slithering carpet of rats and the sound of bells, the Plague Prophet strides forth - spreading the gospel of nurgles blessings.

I smudged some white paint on his left hand which will have to be fixed...

  1. Brilliant - wouldn't wanna run into this guy at night in a dark alley, or anywhere at the light of day for that matter.

    1. Especially at daytime I feel... Night, at least, would be easier on the eyes.

  2. Lovely result.

The book and heraldry are perfect and those legs set him off perfectly. Where are the legs from?

Makes me want to add a fifth Herald...

    1. No probs mate!
The image is done in photoshop and then just saved as a jpg and uploaded as the header in the layout section. You can use any picture you like as your header - bloggers interface is quite customisable.

  5. Thanks mate!

I´ll check it out - I´ve been a bit vary about the Liebster Award as I´ve got a deeply rooted suspicion toward anything resebling a chain-letter, but I´m starting to see the benefits of the Liebster. Thank you for the nomination!

    1. It's a standard grey knight tilt-shield with a few holes bored into it.

  7. Fantastic work! My favourite parts are his belly and the freehand on the book. Also, for some reason I really love the fact his horse legs are red.

  10. Uber!

You know, the nice thing with your blog is that whenever you post a picture of a primed miniature, you can be pretty sure it will be fully painted at most two days later :D

Amazing freehands on this one, mate!

    1. Yeah - I try to get them done as fast as possible. Once I start painting I can't stop until it's finished....

  11. You've used that Plaguebearer kit in so many conversions and so effectively too. Major respect sir.

This one is special though, that free-hand is amazing!

    1. Thanks - this took it's time though... The conversion was done months ago... Had to wait for inspiration to strike.
