In the navy

The mechanicvm needs to maintain close ties to the Imperial Navy for obvious reasons. So, having an ex navy officer close at hand in the warband should come in handy.

Here's a close up of his face - I tried to give him a hard-as-nails, grizzled veteran, look. He's a rugged space hero after all.

    1. Cheers! I had a lot of fun doing thin lines on his face and painting the "aging hero" salt and pepper hair.

  2. Fantastic work mate, again... I know that it's not the base idea but, with that pose, stuff and colours, I can't get an idea out of my mind : he looks like an Evesror ! Could be fun if you build the 3 other archetype in the same "assassin within" soul....

    1. Ha! That´s a really interesting and somewhat unexpected take on this guy, Legatho. I think I see what you´re getting at but to me he´s a much more human character. I might do a take on a straight-up eversor though as I´m honestly not that impressed by the new assassin models.

    1. Thanks!

Rogue Trek sort of ran out of steam. I did Bones and a redshirt, but could never get Kirk or Spock or Uhura right (not for lack of trying...)
One day I might go back and do it properly. This dude could have made a pretty swish Kirk actually, but I suppose I want something more imposing for him....

  4. These type characters should be in more people's collections. Very nicely done Jeff.

  5. Great. Those old Mordheim legs still rules! knife in the boot and all. I have some of those kicking around also. Great character. I like the way that he poses, yet moves.

    1. Yeah - they´re great! Almost 20 years old by now but that kit still got it as you say.

Glad you like him Jakob. I tried to pose him as if he´s cautiously advancing - originally he was a made as a redshirt so he knows he´s about to be attacked by a space monster of some sort...

  6. I've been lurking on your blog for a while and I must say I love your style. Some of the best minis I've seen! I do my best to emulate your style as I love the grittiness and toned down, yet vibrant style of your painting. I have a Dark Angels army and I love the fact that I have multiple paint schemes in one army. With the upcoming release of the new Dark Angels codex, I would be very excited to see your take on them. The new interrogator chaplain perhaps? Carry on, you are doing a fantastic job!

  9. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
