Second mini of 2017

Hi guys!

Yes yes. It's been very quiet, I know. Haven't done much hobbying lately, but a new exiting communal project "Tor Megiddo" masterminded by Alexander jolted me back into action. Check it out here: http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/topic/9023310/1/

Just to get back on the horse I picked up an unpainted mercenary and slapped on some paint. Not my best work but it was fun to break out the brushes and just zone out.

More to come soon.

Hopefully.

  1. I really like how you texture your paint, and your black is very inspiring, well done.

    1. Thanks!
The suit looks darker than it actually is in this photo. It's more of a dirty dark grey brown.

    1. Sorry for double post but I just thought about something else. Are you aware of the AoS28 community and project? I think it's a very interesting new take on the setting and I for one, would love to see what people like you can do with some remote corners of the Mortal Realms!
You can check ExProfundis website for info or go to TGA forum (or the AoS28 fb page).
Hope to see you there one day!

    2. Cheers Hagen!

Yep - I´m indeed aware of AoS28. Jake and the others have done amazing stuff lately. We did a similar thing last year with our Path to Glory project:http://convertorum.blogspot.se/search/label/Path%20to%20Glory

  3. I really like him. Is his head from the Space Marine scouts? If so it's some of the best painting I've seen on one of them. I think it's the dark shadows on the cheeks that stop it looking too wide. Anyway, he's cool. Nice use of parts.

Yeah - it´s a scout head. I tend to use them quite a lot actually. Kinda like the gung-ho military look of them and, as you say, if you paint them right they don´t come off as quite as ridiculously square jawed.

  4. For being a "quickie" paintjob mate, he looks pretty bloody good.

Those scout heads are indeed good parts to utilise and you do just that very well.

  7. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
