The speedpainted plaguebearer just was so much fun I had to do another one!
I used a different paintscheme this time around working from a bone spray basecoat and starting it off with a turqoise wash. Didn't time it but a guesstimate would be around 3 1/2 hours including the base.
The turquoise wash makes the great basis for an unusual colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteBook detail is great too, I like to imagine it is researching diseases as he goes...
Or collecting disease. Apparently the book is so contagious even a plaguebearer pinches it between two fingers when carrying it.
DeleteWow super quick and super good work! Nice free hand on the book.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteShit man, he's even more awesome than the first one. Love the artwork in the book. Any chance you could put up a detail shot of it? :)
ReplyDeleteThere's really not much more to see... It's not my greatest illustration ever to put it mildly.
DeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteHis little eyes are what gets me.
manages to keep that book remarkably clean for a nurgly chap.
I think it's more polluted and radioactive - hence the apparent clean-ness...
