Batch painting

Haven't done this for a while... It's been one model at a time mostly.

It seems the paint scheme works in batches though and is fairly quick to boot. Lots of washes and drybrushing makes for a steady and relatively speedy progress.

  1. Must be a long time since you batch painted? Can only agree though, the scheme seems to fit the process. Like the colors you have used - looks a lot like your "usual" favourite palette but with a little extra added. Can't quite nail the difference - perhaps the beigegreenbrownish used for the trousers and jackets?

The miniatures are something on their own - IMO it's some of the best and most characterful models GW have produces for a long time. Personally I can't wait to get my hands on them, mine are in the mail.

    1. Yeah - it's a bit greener than my usual khaki - feels more "military"...

The minis are great. I normally get bored when painting more than one mini at a time (bored and sloppy) - but these guys are just so much fun
