Blip... blip...blip...scuttle-scuttle

I litetary woke up in the middle of the night with the idea for this miniature fully formed in my head. Got up, pieced it together in 30 minutes flat in some sort of dream fueled frenzy, and then went back to sleep.

What it is I hear you ask?

No idea what so ever. Some sort of heretical scuttler-drone of xenos origin to keep Carax company I'd wager.

The rocks are plasticard cut into shape ( sometimes I also use real rocks or bark). The rubble is just standard GW textured paint.

  2. Love you little automaton! I have always felt that the universe of the 41st century is big enough for a lot more robots.

I have some pics of ;itt;e robots from my own army as well, if you're interested and have a moment you might check them out here: http://guardsman-a-day.blogspot.com/2014/05/forty-days-of-robots-day-36.html

Your work is really great, I'm a big fan.

Yep - there's always room for more robots if you ask me. Thanks for the link - some really cool droids in there!

  3. Very cool. I really like stuff like this as it really evokes the creepy feeling of the inquisition and 40k in general. The only thing I am not quite sure about is the size of the mask, it seems a little big for the body but might all come together when it is painted. Love your imagination!

    1. Thanks!

It's meant as sort of a 40k sputnik so the large "head" is very much intended...
