Today I put up a new gallery dedicated to the undisputed King of the Servo-skulls, the Master of the Macabre, the Lord Illuminator of the 41st millenium.
Ladies and gentlemen - I give you mr John Blanche (esq):
Thanks for that summary: it's always pure pleasure to see some works of The Master. In fact I've realised you have to "grow up" to fully appreciate genius of J.B. I remember when I was starting the miniature adventure Blanche's works weren't anything special for me (with few exceptions), in fact was wondering who in the hell hired this guy while there was Mark Gibbons drawing - that time my fav illustator. But few years later I started discovering "the thing" behind John's pieces and now, well I just cannot believe I could've been so wrong ;)
Yeah I know what you mean... I started when I was eleven or twelve and John and Adrian Smiths stuff was just a tad to disturbing for me then. I preffered Paul Bonner (probably the reason I'm still so fond of orks). But slowly but steadily I started to find that nastiness pretty cool...
