  1. Very nice work so far, particularly on the tilt shield.

i would be interested in reading some painting tutorials from you, if you have the inclination.

    1. Thanks!
I normally paint in a bit of a frenzy, with little thought on documenting what I do. However If theres anything particular you want to know just ask and perhaps I could make some sort of feature on it.

    2. Your skin technique and banner painting are particularly interesting, although obviously quite a bit of that comes down to skill and practice.

    3. Well that, and the new GW washes... I´ll see what I can do!

The banners are hard to give any hints on other than that I use a thin 0.05 Staedler pen to draw the designs - they come in lots of colurs. Thats what I use for most fiddly freehand stuff.

  4. Excellent work. Love what you've done with that bearded head (I think it is among the Top 5 bits from the new kits).

    1. Agreed! All those new veteran heads are very expressive but this and the bald, arrogant one with the eyepiece are the top of the litter...

  5. Hi!

Your work it's very impressive, but did you paint it without sublayer?

    Good night too ^^

    1. Um.. What´s a sublayer? Do you mean a undercoat?

Its undercoated with chaos black and then a thin coat of armypainters grey spray.

    2. Sorry, I'm french and i didn't know the english word for "sous-couche".
But it was indeed undercoat that i was speaking of ;)
