Carnivale

I've felt like doing something weird for a while. When Ana over at Gardens Of Hecate posted a brilliant tutorial on how to sculpt ruffs things started to fall into place - my nurgly band needed some of that "carnival of Nurgle" razzle-dazzle...

I call him "The Host".

    1. Yeah - perhaps a top hat or a fools cap would be better. Not sure about the tiny horn anyway...

      I'll check out the inquisitress!

    2. I was thinking that he would be holding a beaten old top hat in his left hand. like he was introducing the Carnivale. Either way, so cool man.

  2. Loving this dude already! You can never go wrong with Nurgle... or Carnivale, for that matter. Both combined is just pure win :)

  3. Amazing idea! I love this model a lot. The ruff is a very nice touch that adds a lot of this carnaval of chaos atmosphere! But I think those feet suit the general theme of the mini extremly well-great touch!!

    Cheers, Marc

  5. For "ta-da" wouldn't an open mouth to account for him saying it be better?

Regardless, this chap has loads of fun character and I fully approve of the Carnivale theme. They were some of the best Nurgle figs produced.

    1. Agreed - they were a bit crude, but extremely full of character.

He's caught in the moment pronuncing the "d"
