There'll be more to come. I think the crew is a bit of a sausage fest at the moment ( though strictly speaking the plaguebearers are Ken-dolls in the genital department...) so I'm thinking a girl or two.

EDIT:
I got rid of the blue detailing on the gatling that some people (including me) found distracting.
Nice work, and I like how the warband is shaping up.
ReplyDeleteI'll take more pictures when I unpack the rest of the crew.
DeleteNever thought that I'd ever see "sausage fest" and Nurgle would be used in the same sentence.... O_o
ReplyDeleteBloody funny though.
Wonderful finished result.
Wormfest? Intestinefest?
DeleteLove these guys... al of them! Al the colours and textures are just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see you do a nurgle-fied girl character, too. Should be interesting :)
Yeah... Not sure which model to base her on, but I'm leaning towards banshee...
DeleteYour colour pallet across these is briliant - and the bases tie in perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI love that look you get from the washes over the metallic parts - are you using powders as washes, or just thinning acrylic paints?
Thanks!
DeleteNo powders - it's just reikland fleshshade and diluted brown and orange.
Excellent work mate! I love what you've done with the cables!!! Just made him prefect.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kari!
DeleteIncredible work as usual! Keep up such inspirational work. Nominated you for a Liebster!

Cheers mate! Thanks a lot!
DeleteAs I said on the ammo, he's perfect! Reminds me Kuato from the original Total Recall!
ReplyDeleteHehe. That's an interesting reference... The main sources of inspiration was actually the heavy terminator in Terminator Salvation and Mean Machine Angel from Judge Dredd...
DeleteI was thinking today about the "girl" nurgle followers, and it occured to me that playing on the swollen belly/pregnancy angle might produce some interesting results... particularly with a plague bearer that has a nurgling reaching out....
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Body horror a la Croenenbergs "The Brood"? Not a bad idea but I´ve got another in the works to start with. That idea is great though!
DeleteGreat looking minis. Would you mind if I share some of your work on my blog if I accredit and post a link back here?
