Back on the air!

Hello.

As you might have noticed, things have been a bit quiet on the Convertorum these last two months. This has mainly been for two reasons:

The first reason is that I've been trying to finish writing my next book. This has, as you might imagine, been rather time consuming ( plus my ridiculously oversized 27" iMac has occupied my worktable ).

The second and, in a way, most important reason is a general sense of miniature fatigue. I had boxes full of bitz but couldn't come up with any interesting ideas on what to make with them.  Also I've kept a pretty frantic pace these 2,5 years since the start of the blog and felt I really needed a break. That break grew longer and longer as I realised there wasn't really anything I  truly wanted to build.

But now the book is done, the computer is stowed away and paints, brushes and little plastic men are slowly taking over my worktable yet again.

As a warm up piece after the break I'm working on a xenos mercenary to accompany the skadir. I like the Star Wars vibe these two give off...

  1. Good to see you back in in the Æther! That Skadir is still pretty damn beautiful - looking forward to see the brute painted up too.

    1. He won´t be beautiful in the same sense though. My ambitions aren´t set quite as high with this one...

  2. Glad to hear you finished your book, that is fantastic news, congratulations! I can understand the feeling of miniature fatigue, but have found it much easier to stave away due to blogs like yours, which create models that fit your own flavor of 40k. It is excellent to hear you are working on models again and I cannot wait to see what is to come. Your new xenos warrior is hideous in an excellent way!

  7. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
