Psykonaut II

I decided the psykonaut needed a buddy!

Painted in record time no less - about three episodes of "Salem" (45x3 minutes). Bam!

Now I only have to paint the navigatress and the crew's ready to take on Terra!

She's the groups second "larger than life" character, standing even taller than Lazaros. I was kinda conflicted about using the techpriest legs as they've already been featured on several amazing pilgrym models, but they just suited the mini so well. I wanted her to look warped and otherworldly - a bit like my old space-vampiress - and the swooping techpriest legs were perfect for that.

  2. Holy smokes dude - how can you paint so good, so fast! Must be some kind of malign warp influence at play here ;-) Lovely job (as expected) and a cracking group. Cant wait to see the Nav finished!

    1. It does lack some of the definition of the first one, but they work really well together. I'lll certainly spend more than 2 1/2 hours on the navigator..,

  3. A lovely group of models! They all fit together so well; the genestealer cult models were a fantastic base for a crew that normally walks the decks of interstellar ships. I think the two Psykonauts really help make the group seem uniform and regimented. I cannot wait to see them on Terra :D

    1. Cheers mate. I'd recommend any modeller to get hold of at least a few of the fourth gen cultists. They're surprisingly versatile.

  6. Now I regret assembling all those GSC minis as game-standard. Your work makes me want to buy a whole new set just for converting!

  8. Very nice. I can – although the model is great as it is – relate to your questioning of using the techpriest body, as it really is very popular and it´s shape known to the eye.
Maybe you would try on this body, wich may fit in height, elaborateness and movement (though lacking cablework obviously):

    1. Indeed That would have been a really cool mini to base it on. Too late now though as she's already primed.

Oh well. Gotta buy that floating throne thing one day so I can get my hands on those vampire brides....

  9. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
