Let's twist again...


Look! The mutie apparently has a baby brother!
Ain't he a cutie...

I'm thinking about following in JBs footsteps and having a go at a classic painting on the parchment. Mona Lisa feels a bit done though...
Bruegel? Bosch? Goya?
Suggestions are more than welcome!

    Why not a Blanche? ;) More seriously, an Albrecht Dürer seems appropriate, although you might want to colorize it.

    My own attempt at a Caravaggio was partly successful.

      Dürer is definitely right up the right alley! Good call!

      And nice choice of Caravaggio - that medusa really fits the model. I've seen that one in real life but I don't remember where... The Prado in Madrid I think...

    Brom or Giger, although I think Brom would be more appropriate for a mutie. Also, Brom's colour palatte would complement a Blanche theme extremely well.

      While I'm a big fan of both artists, I don't really consider any of those gentlemen classical. They're rather contemporary what with them being alive and all... I'm thinking renaissance here. Or earlier. Possibly baroque

    How about Vallejo? That was a wild card I admit, but think about it... His stuff would give pretty strong contrast to the overall feeling of these guys, just like the classic art did on Orc banners in the 80's.

    If you feel like toying around, maybe Miller would go too?

    Hi mate,

    Just dropped a post in your ammobunker thread, but Ill repeat the essence here.

    I think you should go with a Caravaggio, he really made some nice and dark paintings, brimming with the right Inq28 spirit and feeling.
    Or perhaps one of Murillo's crucifiction pieces.

      Hmmm. Caravaggio is perhaps a bit too slick for this guy... His stuff would perhaps fit a Space Marine better?

    How about Benjamin West ? he made a couple of nice gothic religious paintings.
    'Saul and the Witch of Endor' would be especially nice I think, considering the model..
