Recap

2013 was quite a year.

I started this blog in late february and now, ten months later, it would be quite an understatement to say that was a pretty good decision.

Through Officio Convertorum I've come in touch with a vibrant community of modellers that continuosly inspire, challenge and completely astound me with their work. Kari, Mikko, Migs, Kraut, JRN, Neil, Mol and many, many, others.

I've also made some real life friends, among these are PDH/ Peter Hudson - a pillar of the inq28 community and the main inspiration for this blog, the illustrious mr. John Blanche (who needs no further introduction), Tammy (Tears of Envy), Tim (Tears of Istvan) and Jon Flindall.

The Convertorum has also spurred me on as a modeller and painter - it's just more fun when you know people you respect are looking - and I really feel I've developed a lot these past ten months.

It's been quite a productive year to say the least. Here's a group shot of  (most of) the models I've made this year:

Orks:

Eldar:

Chaos:

Truescale Space Marines:

Squats:

Henchmen:

Inquisitors:

The plan for 2014 is to do some bigger stuff. Not necessarily vehicles (although I have to finish up that Dakka Jet...) but rather monsters, robots, walking thrones, dreads - that sort of thing. Mix it up a little.

I'll leave you with my personal favourite mini of 2014 - Cuddles the Cherubivm.
Happy new year to you all!

    1. Thanks man.
Better than my new years eve then, spent with the "wintery-puke-sickness" that always goes around in sweden this time of year.
And no, that´s a actual disease - not a euphemism for hangover.

  7. What a year 2013 has been for our take on the hobby! Solid releases from GW, Blanchitsu in WD, the Arkke, Mhorrigot, Confrontation in the under hive, amazing miniatures poping up all over the place, it has been one hell of a year. Hopefully 2014 only gets better.

Happy New year Jeff and thanks for the good times :)

  9. You really should be proud of this years output, theres some fantastic models and imagery on display. I must admit your blog has inspired me to drag out my brushes again, although work dose sometimes get in the way :(

Your henchmen really do look impressive displayed all together like that. It would be fantastic if you had an armies on parade type display for your inquisition force, im sure you could create some great scenery elements.

keep up the excellent work :)
