Very nice work! I wasn't too sure about these when I first saw them, but now I've looked them over I may pick some up to make some Adeptus Mechanicus troopers.
That would probably work really well - gicve them cowled heads and convert the lasgun into something wierd. I´m anxious to get another box and start playing around with them a bit...
Awesome work. I just noticed though, that the lasgun powerpack cabling is WAY too big. Those guys would be tripping over it and getting it caught on stuff all the time.
True. It´s a bit on the lage side. But on the other hand the lasguns themselves are as big as the stormtroopers which would also be rather unsuitable for commando troops... I might convert the next batch though and replace the cables with new, less clunky, wiring.
Off-Topic - Please do more of those Rouge Trek 40,000 figures! They look great, and I want to see what the Eldar advisor looks like! And how about parts lists for each figure - I'd like to try building my own! Grif
Yeah I should get back to that... I have a bunch of converted redshirts ready to be painted... I wasn´t happy with the Kirke conversion so it got scrapped, but the new commissar model might serve as a base for the captain.
Very nice work!

I love the grey with metal highlights on the armour. Consider that stolen! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou go right ahead, sir!

DeleteYou should use the first head for the sergeant, this one looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe hooded head gets my vote. Keeps with the Inquis-vibe.
ReplyDeleteTroopers are super cool mate. The green is lovely with the slate grey armour.
Jag håller med de två första- huvudet med huva ser bra ut. Men kan säkert finnas andra som passar. Snygga färger!
ReplyDeleteThe cultist head looks pretty awesome. You've inspired me to pick up a box!
ReplyDeletePure WIN mate - I love them - well done.
ReplyDeleteON the alternate heads, the last one is the one that stands out for me - reminds me of the Infinity Ariadna Spec OPs model.

These are really great! They'll fit right in with the rest of your weirdlings :) You really master the use of blue as a spot colour!
