There's a splendid "Make A Mini From A Movie Month" going on over at the Ammobunker.
I've decided to join in with a mini based on the Diva Plavalaguna from Besson's The Fifth Element:
The main reason behind this was partly that I wanted to do a female character and partly that, as blue has become sort of a signature spot colour for me, it was about damn time to paint a blue skinned mini.

It seems I've turned her into a slaaneshii psykerre.
Love the tentacles/hair! Great posing as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil!
DeleteI went for a sort of kung fu movie pose. works better in some angles than others....
Brilliant! I love Fifth Element and this is a nice version of the Diva. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jordan!
DeleteIt's such a great film. I think I saw it three times just in the theater - countless times on cideo after that...
Just finished going through your blog starting at your very first post and I can't say I am disappointed to finish my journey on a post involving one of the Sci-Fi greats.
ReplyDeleteIn any case I want to thank you for keeping me entertained and inspired with your blog for hours on end.
